My Story

Julia Marsh has an MA (2007) in visual and critical studies from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and an MFA (1997) in studio art from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition to being an artist, curator and writer she teaches art history courses at Cedar Crest College, Allentown, PA. While her artworks explore the impact of trauma, her curatorial efforts have focused on underrepresented artists and exploring the untold stories of museum objects. Her writings on feminism and technology to publications, such as SPACE, Art in Culture, New Art Examiner, Artblog, and Public Art Dialog.
